writer's island prompt "lost highway"

i found a lost highway in you,
one i forgot existed. you opened
up my heart, so i could see all the
parts of me. i knew i was in there
somewhere, it just took a moment
to find my way. now your gone
and i must travel this highway
alone; for what's the use of finding
something lost, if you never end up
using it. i've become the real me
and will now forever be, the truest
and most profound me i can be.

I love those lines and the sentiment contained within them.
